Announcing the Winners of the SmartPak ATC Scavenger Hunt

The USEA Adult Team Championships (ATC) were a huge success this year, garnering a record-breaking 58 ATC teams at the USEA American Eventing Championships presented by Nutrena Feeds. The ATC provides USEA Adult Rider program members with the chance to compete as a team and represent their Area in a friendly and fun environment at the Beginner Novice, Novice, Training, and Preliminary levels.

“Say Cheese!” SmartPak to Host Scavenger Hunt for Adult Team Riders at AEC

The USEA Adult Team Championships (ATC) is the capstone event for the USEA Area Adult Team Challenges. The ATC provides adults with the chance to compete as a team and represent their Area in a friendly and fun environment. With four divisions offered from Beginner Novice through Preliminary, there are plenty of opportunities for adult riders of all levels to participate. For this year’s ATC, SmartPak has challenged ATC riders to an additional quest- a photo scavenger hunt across the Kentucky Horse Park!

What you should know for the 2021 USEA Adult Team Championships

The 2021 USEA Adult Team Championships (ATC) will take place at the USEA American Eventing Championships presented by Nutrena Feeds (AEC) on August 31 - September 5 at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky. The USEA Adult Team Challenges have been held across the country for over 20 years. At first, the Adult Rider Program held three regional championships – East, West, and Central. In 2014, those three championships morphed into one as the USEA Board of Governors approved a new model to re-energize the Adult Rider Program. This year, the ATC team spirit will return to the AEC!

In the wake of the cancellation of the 2020 USEA American Eventing Championships presented by Nutrena Feeds (AEC) and the Adult Team Championships (ATC) last fall, the USEA Adult Rider Coordinators came together to develop a unique opportunity for their fellow Adult Riders. The Virtual ATC Challenge was held instead to provide Adult Riders with a chance to compete against their peers from around the country.

VIDEO: Adult Rider Open Forum

Adult Rider Committee co-chairs Donna Bottner and Dawn Robbins led the Adult Rider Open Forum at the 2018 USEA Annual Meeting & Convention. The 10 Area Adult Rider Coordinators introduce themselves and explain a bit about each Area's program. Then, Daniel Stewart talks about the Equestrian Athlete Camps at the U.S. Olympic Training Center and the benefits of the program. Finally, Bottner and Robbins open the floor for amateur and adult riders in the audience to bring forward questions and concerns for discussion.
