At the 2018 USEA Annual Meeting & Convention, a panel including international riders Doug Payne, Tamra Smith, Andrea Baxter, Dominic Schramm, and Waylon Roberts and owner and breeder Debbie Adams answered questions about their young horse programs. Questions included where do you find your horses, what is your basic training program to prepare your horse for the YEH 4-year-old classes, what has your experience with the USEA Young Event Horse Championships been like, how do we encourage U.S. breeding, and what is the most important thing you look for in an event horse.
The USEA Annual Meeting & Convention takes place each December and brings together a large group of dedicated USEA members and supporters to discuss, learn, and enjoy being surrounded by other eventing enthusiasts.
