USEF Announces Land Rover U.S. Eventing Team for FEI Eventing Nations Cup Netherlands CCIO4*-NC-L
The United States Equestrian Federation is pleased to announce the four combinations selected to represent the Land Rover U.S. Eventing Team at the FEI Eventing Nations Cup Netherlands CCIO4*-NC-L hosted in Enschede, the Netherlands, at the Military Boekelo-Enschede from October 5-8, 2023. The U.S. combinations will be led by Chef d’Equipe Leslie Law.
The following combinations have been named to the Land Rover U.S. Eventing Team and are listed in alphabetical order.
- James Alliston (San Ramon, California) and Karma, a 9-year-old Oldenburg mare owned by Alliston Equestrian and Ric Plummer
- Phillip Dutton (West Grove, Pennsylvania) and Denim, an 8-year-old Holsteiner gelding owned by Caroline Moran, Ann Lapides, Neil Sites, and Ann Jones
- Cassie Sanger (Wilmington, Delaware) and Fernhill Zoro, her own 15-year-old Irish Sport Horse gelding
- Jennie Saville (West Grove, Pennsylvania) and Connory, an 11-year-old Holsteiner gelding owned by Nina Gardner, Timothy Gardner, and Jennie Saville
The following combinations have been named as team alternates and are listed in alphabetical order.
- Jenny Caras (Buckhead, Georgia) and Trendy Fernhill, a 12-year-old Irish Sport Horse gelding owned by Elyse Eisenberg
- Cosby Green (Lexington, Kentucky) and Jos UFO de Quidam, a 15-year-old Argentine Silla gelding owned by Heather Morris
- Andrew McConnon (Vass, North Carolina) and Wakita 54, his own 10-year-old Dutch Warmblood mare
- Madison Temkin (Lexington, Kentucky) and MVP Madbum, a 10-year-old Thoroughbred mare owned by Madison Temkin, Beth Brown, and Brian Brown
Competition Information
The competition will begin with the dressage phase on Thursday, October 5, and Friday, October 6. The cross-country phase will take place on Saturday, October 7, over the course designed by Adrian Ditcham (GBR). The final jumping phase will conclude competition on Sunday, October 8, over the course built by Kris van Gelder (NED).

8th Annual USEA Intercollegiate Eventing Championship Kicks Off With 18 Schools Represented
Saturday at the 8th annual USEA Intercollegiate Eventing Championship saw a record number of entries trot down centerline at Stable View in Aiken, South Carolina. Riders from eighteen colleges and universities gave it their all in the dressage test before heading into either their show jumping or cross-country phase depending on their division. From Starter up through Intermediate, riders were decked out in team colors and the energy across the facility was electric with cheers.

Behind the Scenes of the 2024 USEA Intercollegiate & Interscholastic Eventing Championships Opening Ceremonies
The spirit of eventing was strong during the opening ceremonies on Friday afternoon at the 2024 USEA Intercollegiate and Interscholastic Eventing Championships. Just shy of 200 Intercollegiate and Interscholastic competitors lined up in the main arena at this year's host venue, Stable View in Aiken, South Carolina, while chanting fight songs, waving team flags, donning mascot costumes, and more, all in celebration of this year's championships officially getting under way.

Fast Facts: 2024 USEA Intercollegiate & Interscholastic Eventing Championships
The "happiest horse trial on Earth" is set to kick off tomorrow, Friday, May 3, at Stable View in Aiken, South Carolina, where 18 colleges and universities and eight Interscholastic Eventing League (IEL) Clubs will parade their teams through the main arena to mark the official start of the 2024 USEA Intercollegiate & Interscholastic Eventing Championships!
