US Equestrian is pleased to announce the combinations selected to the Land Rover U.S. Eventing Team for the FEI Eventing Nations Cup™ The Netherlands CCIO4*-L at the Military Boekelo Enschede in Enschede, Netherlands from October 7-10, 2021. The team will be led by Chef d’Equipe Erik Duvander.

Tamie Smith and Mai Baum were the highest placed combination of the Land Rover U.S. Eventing Team at the FEI Eventing Nations Cup™ The Netherlands hosted at the Military Boekelo CCIO4*-L in Enschede, the Netherlands, earning a final score of 31.9 for 11th place out of a competitive field of 97 starters. The Land Rover U.S. Eventing Team, comprised of Tamie Smith, Liz Halliday-Sharp, Jennie Brannigan and reserve Matt Flynn, was led under the guidance of Chef d’Equipe Erik Duvander.

In the thrilling finale to the FEI Eventing Nations Cup™ 2019 series at Boekelo, The Netherlands today, Team Germany posted their fourth win of the season while league leaders Sweden held on to take the series title. However, some of the biggest smiles were on Swiss faces when they pulled Olympic qualification out of the bag.

When overnight leaders Sandra Auffarth and Let’s Dance 73 (Lancer II x Stella VIII), Dörthe Loheit and Marina Köhncke’s 12-year-old Holsteiner gelding, had the last rail of the triple combination down, Laura Collett and London 52 (Landos x Vernante) moved up to take home the win in the Military Boekelo CCIO4*-L.

Sandra Auffarth and Let’s Dance 73 (Lancer II x Stella VIII), Dörthe Loheit and Marina Köhncke’s 12-year-old Holsteiner gelding, were clear and fast across Adrian Ditcham’s cross-country course to maintain their lead in the Military Boekelo CCIO4*-L on a score of 24.9.

No one could top Sandra Auffarth and Dörthe Loheit and Marina Köhncke’s 12-year-old Holsteiner gelding Let’s Dance 73’s (Lancer II x Stella VIII) score of 24.9 from yesterday’s dressage competition at the Military Boekelo CCIO4*-L, but British rider Laura Collett and London 52 (Landos x Vernante) came the closest.

A full day of dressage competition at the Military Boekelo CCIO4*-L saw 50 riders trot down the centerline in front of judges Jane Tolley (GBR), Stuart Bishell (NZL), and Dr. Katrin Eichinger-Kniely (AUT). Germany's Sandra Auffarth and Let's Dance 74 (Lancer II x Stella VIII), a 12-year-old Holsteiner gelding owned by Dörthe Loheit and Marina Köhncke, lead the way on an impressive 24.9.

The three team horses and one reserve horse representing the United States in the FEI Eventing Nations Cup at the Military Boekelo CCIO4*-L passed the first horse inspection today in front of the ground jury of Jane Tolley (GBR), Stuart Bishell (NZL), and Dr. Katrin Eichinger-Kniely (AUT). A total of 98 horses will move forward to compete in the dressage phase of competition, which is held over the next two days beginning tomorrow at 9:00 a.m.
