We are excited to announce the USEA 12 Days of Giveaways Facebook contest! How do you play, you ask? Once a day beginning December 12 and ending December 23, there will be a prompt on the USEA Facebook page. To play, share the status on your own Facebook page and respond to the prompt - that's it! That will make you eligible to win, and the winner will be randomly selected from those who share and comment.

The fine print:

1. ELIGIBILITY. You must be an active member or supporting member of the United States Eventing Association (USEA) to be eligible to win in the USEA’s 12 Days of Giveaways. In order to receive your prize, be sure that your contact information and address are up to date via USEA Online Services. USEA Staff or Board Members are not eligible to win.

2. SPONSORSHIP. The USEA’s 12 Days of Giveaways is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook. By participating, you understand that you are providing your information to the USEA and not to Facebook. The prizes are made possible by the following valued sponsors: Weatherbeeta, Ride Alert, Dover Saddlery, Eventing Training Online, FLAIR Nasal Strips, Mountain Horse USA and Omega Alpha.

3. HOW TO PLAY. You will be required to “Like” the USEA Facebook page prior to playing. You will then share and comment on the Facebook post in response to the 12 Days of Giveways Question or prompt. Responses made with the same or multiple Facebook IDs, under same or multiple identities, or through the use of any agent or other device or artifice to play multiple times in a day will be deemed invalid and the player will be disqualified. The same individual may not win more than once.

4. DETERMINATION AND NOTIFICATION OF WINNER.

Daily Winner. Each day during the contest period, one prize winner will be selected randomly from among the entrants who answered that day’s question or prompt.

Notification. Winners will be notified once within 3 days of the random drawing by email using the email address provided on their USEA online profile via Online Services. If the notice fails to reach a winner for any reason, that winner may be disqualified. If a winner fails to respond to the email prize notification within 3 days of the time the email was transmitted or attempted to be transmitted to the winner, rejects the prize, or fails to comply with these rules, then, in any of those cases, the winner may be disqualified and the prize may be forfeited. If a prize winner is disqualified for any reason the USEA may (but is not obligated to) randomly select an alternate winner from all remaining eligible entries.

Delivery. Prizes will be mailed to the address provided by the winner on their USEA online profile or an address otherwise specified in communication with the USEA regarding prize delivery. Prizes will be shipped to winners by the end of the month of January, 2015.

5. ODDS OF WINNING. Odds of winning will depend on the number of players who correctly answer each day’s trivia question.

6. PRIZES.
