The United States Eventing Association (USEA) is excited to extend the benefit of a complimentary Digital Membership, which was originally introduced for participants of the USEA Volunteer Incentive Program (VIP) in 2023, to now include members of USEA Affiliate Associations. USEA Affiliates are comprised of local Eventing Associations from across the country that serve as a voice for the eventing communities in their Area.

By registering as an Affiliate, the local Eventing Associations are afforded many benefits with the USEA, including the addition of complimentary Digital Memberships for all their registered members.

The mission of the USEA Affiliate Eventing Association program is to offer a safe, fun, fair, and affordable environment for sport enthusiasts to flourish in their communities, with an emphasis on education, and to help foster a working relationship between the organizations to strengthen all parties. When local Eventing Associations register as an Affiliates of the USEA, they are introduced to myriad opportunities to further promote their group to USEA members and supporters.

USEA Affiliates receive a free listing on USEventing.com on the Affiliate webpage as soon as their registration is processed. The USEA website receives over 6.7 million views per year, offering a fantastic opportunity to get the word out about these local organizations.

Affiliates can also promote themselves through spotlight articles posted to USEventing.com and on the USEA’s social media platforms. The Media and Communications Department welcomes the opportunity to highlight Affiliates and their special interest stories on the website free of charge. Once registered, USEA Affiliates are provided use of the USEA logo on their digital platforms, eNewsletters, and online fundraising promotions, and the Affiliate’s sponsored educational activities may be eligible for coverage under the USEA’s insurance program.

Individuals listed on each USEA Affiliate’s membership roster that have not been a member of the USEA or competed in the last two years will be eligible for a complimentary Digital Membership. Once they have received their complimentary membership, these individuals will also have the opportunity to upgrade to a Supporting or Competing Membership by simply paying the difference in fees associated with each level.

Digital Memberships offer qualifying participants many perks. Digital Members will have full access to the USEA’s online resources, including digital issues of every award-winning Eventing USA magazine since the inception of the organization, a subscription to all USEA eNewsletters, and access to online competition and educational videos.

Digital members will also have voting rights with the association and the ability to make their voice heard in advocacy for the sport of eventing. Participation in USEA Educational Activities, like clinics, seminars, and camps, is another perk that Digital Members will be encouraged to take advantage of, as they provide a great opportunity to increase your knowledge base and meet new people that share your love for the sport.

Finally, Digital Members will have access to the USEA Member Rewards Program, which has exclusive deals from many of the USEA’s partners to enjoy, including 25% off of rental agreements with Avis or Budget, up to 25% off of Big Ass Fans products, up to 28% off MSRP and additional cash discounts for John Deere, up to 40% off at Sherwin Williams, and up to 50% off at UPS.

Alliston’s Busy Weekend, Braitling’s Reuniting with Five-Star Mount, & Kalkman’s Advanced Victory Highlight Twin Rivers Summer H.T.

As he was finishing tacking up his horse in preparation to navigate the cross-country course at the 2024 Twin Rivers Summer Horse Trials, James Alliston expressed concern about navigating the 101 Freeway. That’s because as soon as he crossed the finish line aboard Intermediate level winner Addyson (Ampere x Nickerbocker) at 10:38 a.m. on Saturday—his fifth cross-country round of the morning with three at Preliminary and two at Intermediate—the West Coast-based five-star rider had to drive 185 miles on the 101 Freeway from Twin Rivers Ranch in Paso Robles, California, to San Francisco International Airport to catch a 4:35 p.m. flight to Frankfurt, Germany.
