University of Findlay Hosts First Annual Eventing Clinic

The University of Findlay in Findlay, Ohio, recently hosted its first annual three-day eventing camp at their English Equine Facility - a facility that features three indoor arenas, an outdoor arena, a derby field, trails and a schooling cross-country course. Eventing will officially be added to the school's curriculum as of this fall.
Sue King, a one-star level eventer and instructor at University of Findlay, sent us this update from the camp:
"To kick off the Three-Day Eventing curriculum at the University of Findlay, UF hosted its first annual Eventing camp. Riders took two lessons per day, attended horsemanship and veterinary demonstrations, made new friends from all over the country and took advantage of our wide selection of trails. On the final day, campers designed and rode a show jumping and cross country course to display what they learned."
UF even provided horses to campers if they could not bring their own. The campers raved that the experience was a lot of fun while still feeling safe and controlled.
