Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3 | Part 4
And so it begins...
We are on our way to rainy and stormy Lexington, Kentucky with huge smiles on our faces. Rolex is here. It is hard to believe. I cannot wait to get down to business.
This past week has gone more to plan than the previous one. My spider bite saga seems to nearing it's end and I have been really able to focus on the tasks ahead. Questie is on the job. We have had really wonderful schools this week. He feels amazing in both body and spirit and is really enjoying his work. He knows something big is brewing. He couldn't get on the trailer fast enough this morning. It amazes me that these horses can just feel it.
We should roll into the Horse Park after lunch tomorrow. As it is my first time competing at Rolex, I am sure it will take a bit of adjusting to the scope of things. My plan is to soak it all in and then get down to work.
I want to thank all of the people who are rooting for us! I have lots of good luck charms that have been given to me and have received lots of notes and messages wishing us the best. My biggest charm is is Questie. I am a lucky person to have him!
I will be updating my facebook page throughout the week so if you would like to keep up with us go to Heron's Landing Event Team.
Until next time,
Heather.
