The Eventing Demo at Thoroughbred Makeover Will Include Laine Ashker, Phillip Dutton, and More
The eventing demo at the Thoroughbred Makeover at Pimlico this weekend will include Anthony Patch and Laine Ashker at approximately 4pm Sunday. Laine plans to show her recent breakthroughs in dressage and demonstrate the phenomenal jump that has made him one of the toughest horses to beat on the US eventing scene. Laine will also participate in the 10:30 am Trainers Forum.
The demo, which takes place before Phillip Dutton performs in the America's Most Wanted Thoroughbred Contest on Icabad Crane, also includes Jennie Brannigan jumping cross country fences in the exercise saddle she uses while galloping racehorses for Michael Matz. Jennie will show how riding short on the track has helped her as an event rider, and share what it feels like to go from the world of eventing to racing.
And finally, Michelle Craig will appear with Nap For Sycamore, a sixteen-year-old who ran thirty races, evented advanced for six years with Michelle's husband, and is now heading for the Virginia CCI* with Michelle.
