Dressage is officially done at the 2024 USEA American Eventing Championships (AEC) presented by Nutrena Feeds as Beginner Novice and Starter level competitors make their way out to Jay Hambly's cross-country courses and Novice level competitors turn their attention to their final phase of the weekend.

We will see six new Novice level Champions crowned today and with scores this tight, it truly can be anyone's game.

  • Kerri Long and Blue Suede Shoes posted a double-clear across the country to maintain their lead in the USEA Novice Rider Championships, but with only .4 lead.
  • In the USEA Novice Master Amateur Championship, two-time AEC Champion Jane Musselman has a two-point lead going into the final phase today.
  • Kelsie Goodare and Carli 13 are another former AEC Champion pair who are hoping to add second victory in the Bluegrass to their resume. They do not have a rail in hand this morning, so they will have to be quick and clean to keep hold of the title.
  • Just .2 penalties separate Carla Lindsay and Take Note from the pair currently seated in second in the USEA Novice Junior 15 & Under Championship.
  • Megan Edwards has a 2 point lead with Legend De Mies in the USEA Novice Horse Championship. They must go double-clear to be this year's Champions.
  • Kylie Stangle and Redfield Mikke have an impressive 7 point lead in the USEA Novice Amateur Championship!

Novice level teams will also be aiming to bring home the glory today in the Adams Horse Supply Adult Team Championships (ATC). Which team are you rooting for?
