The #AEC2022 Daily: Wednesday

Welcome competitors, officials, volunteers, friends, family, and spectators to the first day of competition at the 2022 USEA American Eventing Championships presented by Nutrena Feeds. For the first part of the week, horse and rider pairs have been getting settled into the beautiful landscape at Rebecca Farm in Kalispell, Montana in preparation for their respective divisions.
Kicking off the championship competition for the week this morning is the Modified Championship which takes place in Ring 2 starting at 8:30 a.m. The $60,000 Adequan® USEA Advanced Final gets underway at 4:20 p.m. in Ring 1. In addition to the Modified and Advanced divisions, the four Bates Saddles Preliminary Championship Divisions and the Intermediate Championship division will also take place, as well as the Festival Preliminary and Modified divisions. At 6:30 the Welcome Reception & Opening Ceremony Hosted by Rebecca Farm & Area VII will take place in the Pavilion.

About the USEA American Eventing Championships
The USEA American Eventing Championships (AEC) presented by Nutrena Feeds is the pinnacle of the sport at the national levels. Held annually, the best junior, adult amateur, and professional competitors gather to vie for national championship titles at every level from Beginner Novice to Advanced. This ultimate test of horse and rider draws hundreds of horses and riders from around the country to compete for fabulous prizes, a piece of the substantial prize money, and the chance to be named the National Champion at their respective levels.
