Ten Days 'Til Live Country Music, Course Walks with the Pros and a Party the Size of Texas!
The 2014 Nutrena USEA American Eventing Championships (AEC) are only ten days away! Post entries close tomorrow, September 16, for the AEC, USEA Adult Team Championships and Adequan USEA Gold Cup Final.
Three professional singers have been booked for entertainment at this year’s Championships, and they are acts you will not want to miss! T.J. Broscoff, known for his latest hit radio single “Falling Down,” will be performing at Wednesday night’s Welcome Party and 20-year-old country singer Brianna Fletcher can be found performing on the cross-country course all day Friday. Saturday’s Competitor Party will feature the mechanical bull riding contest, which is open to all competitors and spectators, and live music courtesy of country music artist Zach Stone.
Fatt Apple Catering will be catering the parties, VIP tent and cross-country course spectator areas with several fresh, delicious food options. Make sure to get in on the action and buy your VIP and party tickets on the USEA AEC Tickets web page.
There will also be a number of educational opportunities to take advantage of. Become a better horseman with world-renowned groom Max Corcoran, who will lead horsemanship seminars on Thursday and Friday. These seminars are open to everyone and Max will be willing to answer any horse care questions that you might have. Max and other top riders at the AEC will also teach The Event College, which aims to educate the general public about the sport of eventing. Educational seminars are made possible by the sponsorship of the North Texas Eventing Association. Finally, walk your course with the pros! PRO cross-country course walks will be offered from Beginner Novice through Intermediate. Dates and times for the course walks will be announced on-site.
