Temple and Axel Rose Rock It at Bromont

Kelli Temple (CAN) of Round Hill, Virginia and Axel Rose, an 8-year-old Thoroughbred gelding owned by Carl Bouckaert, trotted into the lead yesterday at the Bromont Three-Day Event in Bromont, Quebec (CAN), earning a 45.0 in the CCI2*. The pair has a slim lead over Clark Montgomery and Loughan Glen (45.7) and Courtney Cooper and Havasu Canyon (47.0). Boyd Martin and Minotaure du Passoir lead the CCI1* with a 47.5, while Buck Davidson and Catalina stand in second with a 49.1 and Nina Ligon and Tokay round out the top three with a 49.7.
