“Team Allison” Fundraiser & Concert
On February 26th, from 3:30 – 6:30 p.m. there will be a fundraiser for Allison Angove and her family held at Veterans Memorial Martinez, located at 930 Ward Street, in Martinez, California 94553. Tickets are $25 and tax deductible.
The event will include food, raffles, silent auction, and dancing with live music by the new local band PUSH, featuring ABC7News Anchor, Dan Ashley, as lead singer. The local community has been very generous in their donations so that our raffle will include a flight around the San Francisco Bay, as well as other spectacular items for raffle and auction, including Celebrations on the Bay cruise tickets, two hours of DJ services, massages, movie tickets, Curves membership services, restaurant gift certificates, and numerous other "surprise" merchandise and services. You won’t want to miss this event!

If you are unable to attend, you can make a tax deductible donation to the event, as it is sponsored by the nonprofit organization Veterans Memorial, which represents multiple military services and supports local youth.
Allison was in an eventing accident in the spring of 2009, was in a coma for fourteen months, and has been going through intense therapy ever since. Allison and her family have been challenged monetarily as they are striving to provide for her on-going needs, which includes speech and language therapy and physical therapy, to name only a few. In addition to her immediate needs, Allison has returned home after 2 l/2 years in medical facilities, and required home remodeling to accommodate her wheelchair accessible needs.
