Standlee Hay Company Returns as the Official Forage of the USEA

By USEA

Leesburg, Va. – The United States Eventing Association (USEA) is pleased to welcome back Corporate Sponsor Standlee Hay Company, Inc., for their second year as the Official Forage of the USEA. Standlee supports several of the USEA programs, with a contributing sponsorship for the USEA Gold Cup Series, Young Event Horse Series, Future Event Horse Series, as well as a Platinum Level Sponsorship for the American Eventing Championships.

“The return of Standlee Hay as our Official Forage sponsor means a great deal to the USEA,” said Jo Whitehouse, USEA CEO. “On a personal note, we have been feeding our two retired horses Standlee forage products and they are thriving on it. Even though they are no longer competing, they deserve the best and Standlee gives us the ease of mind to know that is what they are getting. The USEA is thrilled to continue our relationship with Standlee and to help promote these quality products to our members.”

Standlee Hay Company, Inc. is a family-run business located in Eden, Idaho. Today, they own and carefully manage over 13,000 acres of alfalfa, timothy grass, and orchard grass. Idaho’s climate and nutrient-rich soils help to produce the nation’s best growing and drying conditions for forages. Standlee’s passion and commitment to quality has positioned the company as the industry leader both domestically and internationally.

“Again this year, Standlee is proud to support the USEA’s mission to promote the sport of eventing and to educate riders and trainers on the health and well-being of their horses,” stated Dusty Standlee, President of Standlee Hay Company. “The essential dietary component for any horse is high quality forage and Standlee’s premium western forage® products help jump start equine athletes to perform at their peak level,” continued Standlee. “Standlee Hay wishes all competitors and their mounts the best throughout the 2015 eventing season!”
