Beginner Novice through Preliminary competitors flocked to the first Area II event of the season at Southern Pines I in Raeford, N.C. on March 10 and 11. Good early season courses and picture perfect weather made the weekend enjoyable for riders. Six dressage rings ran efficiently on Saturday for all competitors while Novice and Beginner Novice divisions show jumped and Preliminary and Training divisions ran cross-country. Sunday started bright and early with Preliminary and Training level show jumping and Novice and Beginner Novice cross-country.

Southern Pines will hold their second event on March 23-25 for Training through Advanced levels.
