Do you want a front row seat at the Nutrena USEA American Eventing Championships presented by VTO Saddlery? Volunteers get up-close and personal with the best event riders in the country, and whether you’re an experienced volunteer or a rookie, we’ve got a job for you! We need scribes, jump judges, ring stewards, hospitality assistants, help with the awards ceremonies and much more.

You don’t have to be an Eventer or even a rider to be a volunteer – everyone is welcome! People of all ages and levels of equine knowledge are needed to make sure the show runs smoothly.

Volunteers are the backbone to the sport of Eventing, and competitors know just how indebted they are to each and every person who takes the time to help at an Event. Volunteering at the AEC is an opportunity to get close to top horses and riders, make new friends, meet your Eventing idols, give back to your community and enjoy a beautiful day at the fabulous Texas Rose Horse Park.

You can volunteer as much or as little as you’d like, for one day or for the whole week. The more you volunteer the more you earn, not to mention you’ll get a catered lunch each day! Here are some of the perks that are offered to AEC volunteers:

• All volunteers that work a full day through a lunch break will receive an insulated souvenir AEC lunch bag. Lunch bags will be filled with food on Friday and Saturday of the event. The other days will have catered buffet-style lunches.
• All volunteers that work a full day shift will receive an AEC T-Shirt provided by Animals To Wear.
• After the first full day shift, each subsequent full day shift will earn each volunteer $25 AEC Bucks per day (redeemable for USEA merchandise or AEC party tickets).
