Rebecca Farm to Host CCI3* in 2015

One of the biggest headlines that came out of The Event at Rebecca Farm in Kalispell, Montana last weekend was the announcement of a CCI3* in 2015.

“It is time to move forward and provide the western competitors a CCI3*. We want to continue to make this a showcase event,” Organizer Sarah Broussard told the Flathead Beacon. “We want to create a CCI3* in the U.S. that is truly international quality.”

With the addition of Rebecca Farm, there are five CCI3* competitions in North America. Currently, Jersey Fresh in Allentown, New Jersey; Bromont in Bromont, Quebec; Galway Downs in Temecula, California; and Fair Hill International in Elkton, Maryland offer the second highest level of eventing in the world.

West coast competitors are thrilled to have an additional opportunity at this level on their side of the country, and one that falls earlier in the competition year than Galway Downs in October.

“It’s a big deal," said Californian Matt Brown. For U.S. Eventing, it’s a big step."
