Preview the 2018 USEA AEC Advanced, Intermediate, Preliminary, and Training Cross-Country Courses with the CrossCountry App!
This year, the USEA has partnered with CrossCountry App to provide virtual course walks for all levels at the 2018 USEA American Eventing Championships presented by Nutrena Feeds at The Colorado Horse Park. With the CrossCountry App, riders can create a virtual map of their course, complete with minute markers, notes, and photos, or take a virtual course walk of a pre-recorded course. Take a virtual tour around the Adequan USEA Gold Cup Advanced, Open Intermediate, Preliminary, and Training cross-country courses on the CrossCountry App to see the track the riders will take, complete with minute markers, and the different fences they will tackle. The CrossCountry App is available for download on iOS. For those not using an iPhone, all the course walks can still be accessed using a mobile web browser by clicking here.

About the USEA American Eventing Championships
The USEA American Eventing Championships (AEC) is the pinnacle of the sport for the national levels. Held annually, the best junior, adult amateur, and professional competitors gather to vie for national championship titles at every level from Beginner Novice to Advanced. This ultimate test of horse and rider draws hundreds of horses and riders from around the country to compete for fabulous prizes, a piece of the substantial prize money, and the chance to be named the National Champion at their respective levels. About the Adequan USEA Gold Cup Series
The 2018 Adequan USEA Gold Cup Series features 11 qualifying competitions throughout the United States at the Advanced horse trials and CIC3* levels. The qualifying period begins August 2017 and continues through August 2018 with the final taking place at the 2018 USEA American Eventing Championships at the Colorado Horse Park in Parker, Colorado, August 29 – September 2, 2018. Riders who complete a qualifier earn the chance to vie for $40,000 in prize money and thousands of dollars in prizes and the title of Adequan USEA Gold Cup Champion in the Adequan USEA Gold Cup Final Advanced Division. Now On Course: Patience Pays Off for Nazila Hejazi & Her 20-Year-Old Missouri Fox Trotter
Nazila Hejazi and her 20-year-old Missouri Fox Trotter mare, Tessa, may have made for an unconventional pair at the USEA Area VI Championships, held in October at Galway Downs (Temecula, California) but they didn’t let that hold them back. It’s uncommon to see a horse in their twenties still competing in eventing, and even more rare for a gaited horse to compete in a jumping sport.
