The USEA is excited to be welcoming back Omega Alpha Pharmaceuticals, a Canadian Herbal Supplements and remedies manufacturer, as a sponsor of the 2012 Nutrena USEA American Eventing Championships Presented By Bit of Britain.
“Sponsorship of the AEC is a wonderful extension to the commitment Omega Alpha has made to the sport of Eventing,” said Patti Hanco of Omega Alpha. “Throughout our sponsorship with the Canadian Eventing riders these past few years, Omega Alpha Pharmaceuticals has developed a strong relationship with each individual rider. As the number one selling supplement line in Canada our transition into the U.S. market involved a strong investment for the future with our Wisconsin facility. We want to grow our involvement in Eventing and with the USEA.”
Omega Alpha products were developed by pairing the scientific knowledge of Dr. Gordon Chang, the company’s president and formulator, to the specific needs of each competitor’s horses. The products are often sold or suggested by Veterinarians as a viable alternative to many prescribed treatments. With 20 years of experience and over 36 unique formulations, Omega Alpha customers have come to know they can rely on our products to be safe and effective while being very palatable without unwanted fillers.
“Dr. Chang offered a different perspective on dealing with familiar problems, which resulted in improved performance via our natural products,” Hanco explained. “Those results spoke volumes as the Canadian riders have steadily come up the ranks at each event. A few of the riders as well as the team veterinarian were so impressed by the equine results they have now added our human products to their own personal fitness regime. Having the endorsement of the Canadian team’s coach, veterinarian, and chef d'equipe makes this a true team effort. We now have a variety of U.S. riders who are working with us, and we anticipate many more as the word spreads about Omega Alpha throughout the industry.”
The top six riders in each of the 14 AEC divisions will have a chance to win Omega Alpha products as part of their fabulous prize packages. The 2011 winners loved the Omega Alpha products, and we hope this year’s winners will enjoy them as well. Be sure to stop by the Omega Alpha booth in the Trade Fair to learn all about their products.
