21-year-old Kendal Lehari and Understudy had a wonderful round, finishing in 3rd for the day after adding only time faults to their total.Kendal hails from Uxbridge, Ontario and was the top-placing Canadian for the weekend.Kirsten Selvig & Ruse de Guerre over the Fat SkinnyHere's Molly Rosin and her powerhouse partner Havarah's Charly. This big boy has some scope! For a heavier horse, he certainly had no problems negotiating the first tricky combination on course!Nate Chambers (last year's NAJYRC CCI2* silver medallist) & Rolling Stone IIWheeeee!Stuart Horse Trials has the best outriders - they must be from the local foxhunt, because these guys were FIT! They trotted around retrieving scoresheets all day, and were hugged by small children (and me).The course proved to be no problem for Mikki Kuchta and Oz - they only 6.8 time penalties! But then again, Oz is an absolute cross-country machine - who just jumped around clean at Rolex Kentucky a few months ago!Peter Barry and Kilrodan Abbott looking very intenseand looking good over the House on the Hill!Polar Storm and Katie Willis splooshing into the waterAnd hopping out over the brushDoug Payne and Rocket torpedoing towards the back field.Headed towards the water, Rocket's jumping very well. Unfortunately, he jumped a bit too gleefully into the water and they took a dunking. Both guys were fine, and were unscathed, but soggy (although that was probably welcome in the heat!).Valerie Vizcarrondo & TrickOver hill and dale...Caitlin Sillman and Twain had a great round, and moved up to 12th (love this horse - he's a Connemara-cross!)Luckily they finished their round just as the sky opened up....right at the end of the division!Twizzel & Will Coleman looking very neat and tidy over the House on the HillThese guys hung onto their fourth place standing at the end of the day.The overnight dressage leaders Erika Petersen and Under the InfluenceUnfortunately, they slipped down to 9th place after a run-out.Laura Vandervliet and Warrie HillKatlyn Hewson & Without a Trace

Saturday is by far the busiest event, normally averaging around 40,000 people at the Kentucky Horse Park, which is nearly 50% of the event's total ...
