From the Cosequin Stuart Horse Trials: "It is with our deepest regret that we have to cancel Cosequin Stuart Horse Trials 2013. The safety of horses and riders are our top concern and we could not ensure safe conditions at this time with the extremely wet footing and with more rain forecasted for this week and next. Competitor’s USEA and USEF fees will be refunded as soon as possible. After all expenses are paid we will see if further refunds are available for competitors.
Every July since 1990, the Stuart Horse Trials has hosted thousands of local through international level riders and their horses to compete in the sport of eventing while being cheered on by thousands of spectators. Today, the organization has announced that 2015 was its final year.
On the heels of a highly successful 25th anniversary season last year, the Cosequin Stuart Horse Trials are taking another step into the big league, thanks to its new partnership with Equestrian Events, Inc. (EEI), organizer of the Rolex Kentucky Four-Star Three-Day Event.

At its June meeting, the Victor Town Board recognized the 25th Anniversary of the Cosequin Stuart Horse Trials with a proclamation, and invited all citizens and civic organizations to support this event. The recognition is not only because of the years of service to the community but also due to the growth of this event over the years and its economic impact on the area.

The 24th Cosequin Stuart Horse Trials presented by Towline Truck and Trailer will be held July 11-14, 2013 in Victor, NY. The event has announced the prizes and prize money that will be presented to the winners and second place finishers at this year's event, which offers Beginner Novice through Intermediate divisions.
Leslie Law and Pembridge Swingtime put in a double clear show jumping round to put the pressure on overnight leaders, Jennifer Brannigan and Cambalda. When Brannigan had two rails down Missy Miller’s bay mare was able to take home top honors in the Adequan USEA Gold Cup Division at the Stuart Horse Trials.
Leslie Law jumped a double clear round aboard Missy Miller’s Pembridge Swingtime today in the Adequan USEA Gold Cup Division at the Stuart Horse Trials to take home another win. Phillip Dutton aboard J.C. Chester’s Syd Kent and Peter Barry with his own Kilrodan Abbott rounded out the top three.
The pressure was on today at the Adequan USEA Gold Cup Division at the Stuart Horse Trials. The top three riders were separated by a mere half a penalty point, so there was no room for error. With an electric atmosphere of spectators, a bag piper, and a packed trade fair in the background, the CIC2* riders entered the ring one by one to have their chance to tackle Richard Jeffery’s course.
