Omega Alpha Returns as Sponsor of the American Eventing Championships
The United States Eventing Association (USEA) is excited to announce that Omega Alpha is returning as a sponsor of the 10th Nutrena USEA American Eventing Championships (AEC) to be held September 26 – 29 at the Texas Rose Horse Park in Tyler, TX. In addition to support the competition with cash and product, Omega Alpha is also the title sponsor of the Omega Alpha Optimum Time Award for the Advanced division.
“We are once again pleased to have Omega Alpha on board as a sponsor of the AEC. Their support over the years has been tremendous and we appreciate all they have done for us, and the competitors at the AEC,” said Jo Whitehouse, USEA CEO.
Omega Alpha will be providing a selection of their products to each competitor in addition to a prize package for winners of each division as well as the winner of the Omega Alpha Optimum Time Award. Omega Alpha will also have a booth at the AEC Trade Fair.

About the American Eventing Championships
Each September, over 500 horses travel from across the nation to participate in the American Eventing Championships. This prestigious national championships provides the opportunity for riders at every level of the sport – from Beginner Novice to Advanced – to compete for significant prize money and the chance to be named the best in the nation at their respective levels. Now in its 10th year, the Nutrena USEA American Eventing Championships will be held for the first time at the Texas Rose Horse Park in Tyler, TX. The 2013 competition will run from September 26 – 29. Michael Jung is Back to His Record-Breaking Ways in the Bluegrass at Defender Kentucky
Germany’s Michael Jung hasn’t competed in a five-star since the last time he won the Kentucky Three-Day Event in 2022 with his longtime partner fischerChipmunk FRH, but his love for this event and his horse’s readiness compelled him to return this year and break an all-time record for lowest dressage score at this event (which they set at that 2022 event with a score of 20.1) at the same time. They lead the five-star field with a nearly 10-point lead on a score of 18.6.

Dutton and Denim Deliver following Dressage Day 1 in Cosequin CCI4*-S at Defender Kentucky
“It's day 1, so I'm not getting too excited yet. There's a long, long way to go in this competition,” said Phillip Dutton after his dressage test aboard Denim in the Cosequin CCI4*-S leaving the pair in the overnight lead upon the conclusion of the first day of dressage at the 2025 Defender Kentucky Three-Day Event.

The 2025 K3DE Daily: Dressage Day 1
