Nutrena USEA AEC: The Biggest Bash of the Season Is Thirty Days Away!

By Caroline Culbertson - USEA Staff | August 26, 2014

Entries are flowing in, riders are planning their final trot sets, and only thirty days remain until the 2014 Nutrena USEA American Eventing Championships presented by VTO Saddlery kicks off!

This year’s AEC is so much more than just a horse show. We have upped the ante with top-notch food from The Fatt Apple Catering, a beer garden, an indoor trade fair, a catered VIP tent with the best view on the grounds, and educational course walks and lectures with some of your favorite eventing professionals sponsored by North Texas Eventing Association. On the cross-country course, we will have live music, seating, food, and drinks for spectators to enjoy. Cheer on your friends from our on-course oasis!

Eventers like to party, and we are here to serve. We will welcome everyone to the Texas Rose Horse Park with a Welcome Party on Wednesday evening, featuring a mustang demonstration with Mustang Makeover alumna and upper-level eventer Elisa Wallace. On Thursday evening, our Adult Riders and ATC competitors are invited to toast their successful day of dressage with us at the ATC/Adult Rider social. Then, we’ll celebrate our Young Riders with a pizza party and the ever-popular Dog Show presented by Weatherbeeta (cute dogs in costumes, anyone?) on Friday evening.

To wrap up a fabulous week of competition, join the revelry on Saturday night at the Competitors’ Party in the trade fair arena, complete with a well-stocked bar, a mechanical bull tournament, and a moon bounce. We will also crown the Adequan USEA Gold Cup Champion, so kick off your field boots, pull on your cowboy boots, and come party with us!

More information about tickets for the Welcome and Competitors’ parties and VIP packages can be found here. For information on qualifying, entering, and riding at the AEC, go here.
