Nutrena USEA AEC: Are You Qualified?
The 2014 Nutrena USEA American Eventing Championships (AEC) in Tyler, Texas are quickly approaching and the opening date is next week, Tuesday, August 12th.
Make sure to enter on the opening date! The first 100 competitors to enter and pay via Xentry will be entered in a drawing to win gas cards to help ease the cost of transportation. The USEA is also offering an early entry discount of $100 to competitors who send in their entries postmarked on or before August 19, 2014, or who enter on or before August 19 via Xentry. Please note that payment must be received with these entries in order for the discount to be applied.
The USEA has provided a qualification summary for competitors to use as a checklist on getting qualified for the AEC, which takes place September 25-28, 2014. Make sure you and your horse are qualified.
The qualifying period for the Beginner Novice through Intermediate levels at the 2014 AEC is from July 8, 2013 through September 16, 2014. The Adequan USEA Gold Cup (Advanced) Championships qualification period only includes Gold Cup qualifiers held in 2014, as well as two designated qualifiers from 2013. Closing date is September 9th and post entries will be accepted. All horses and riders must be properly registered with the USEA at the time the qualifications are earned, including Beginner Novice.
