Nina Ligon and Butts Leon rode to victory in last weekend’s CIC3* at Poplar Place Farm in Hamilton, Georgia. The pair finished on their dressage score of 46.5 exactly 10 points ahead of second placed Carl Bouckaert and Mensa. Nina also claimed the third position with Jazz King while the sole American in the field, Danielle Dichting took fourth with Tops. Ronald Zabala-Goetschel swept the fifth through eighth places with Wise Equestrian’s Master Rose, Brer Fox, and Kairo respectively. Elena Ceballos rounded out the finishers in eighth with Nounours du Moulin.
Day 3 of competition at the Yanmar America Tryon International Spring Three-Day Event presented by Tow & Collect showcased Clayton Frederick’s course design at the picturesque White Oak Cross-country course at Tryon International Equestrian Center & Resort (Tryon International).
