Mountain Horse Returns As USEA Sponsor For 2010
Mountain Horse will once again be joining the United States Eventing Association’s family of sponsors for 2010. For the past several years Mountain Horse and the USEA have partnered to sell Mountain Horse apparel proudly displaying the USEA logo.
“The Mountain Horse products have been incredibly popular with our members,” said Jennifer Hardwick, USEA Meeting/Event Planner and Retail Sales. “The quality and workmanship is exceptional and the USEA is proud to be able to offer the Mountain Horse line of jackets, vests, shirts, and accessories to our members.”
Michael Diamond, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for English Riding Supply, added “If we had to choose the ideal customer that reflects the core values of Mountain Horse it would be the Eventer. Mountain Horse is designed in Sweden for outdoor performance in all types of weather conditions. Throughout the afternoon, Davis or one of his employees opens the HayGain machine that sits at the end of his shed row and pulls out a warm, beautiful-smelling bale of freshly-steamed hay to fill their nets.

The VIP Volunteers: Ed and Leanne Barnett Dedicate Nearly 40 Years to Volunteering
Last month, readers met VIP Volunteer Rebecca Proetto, who volunteered at the MARS Maryland 5 Star horse inspection. This month, the focus turns to husband and wife Ed and Leanne Barnett who introduced Proetto to the art of running an efficient horse inspection at Maryland. Ed and Leanne undertake a 12-hour drive from their home in Indiana to Maryland just to volunteer at the event.

In Memoriam: As You Like It (1990-2024)
The USEA is saddened to share the passing of Sara Kozumplik’s five-star partner As You Like It at the age of 34. The gelding died in his sleep at his retirement home at Kozumplik's parents' residence.
