Maryland riders and businesswomen Jackie Ducci and Margaret Rizzo are pleased to announce their new business partnership with the expansion of The Perfect Event LLC to include equestrian events. Both are thrilled to have found a career path that combines their talents in event planning and fundraising with their love of horses!
Having opened their doors less than a month ago, Jackie and Margaret are thrilled that the new company division is already thriving. From large and complex to small and simple, The Perfect Event offers planning, coordination, marketing, development, and public relations services to their new equestrian clients. As President, Jackie Ducci says, “This new arm of The Perfect Event is an ideal blend of both of our strengths, mine being event planning and Margaret’s being in development and PR. Together there’s no telling where we can go!”
Another service being offered is that of rider representation. “We’re here to do the legwork for the professional riders. We can do everything from organize their clinic schedule to attracting new sponsors, while they do what they do best … ride and train,” explains Director of Equestrian Events, Margaret Rizzo.
Based in the heart of Maryland, Margaret and Jackie hope to become a household name in the world of equestrian events. In the meantime, you can find Margaret busy handing out prizes and organizing sponsor publicity at every Waredaca Horse Trials where she took over the role of Sponsorship Coordinator in January 2008. As organizer Gretchen Butts puts it, “Margaret has turned our existing sponsorship program at Waredaca completely around within 6 months!
