Welcome to New Orleans, USEA Members! The 2025 USEA Annual Meeting & Convention gets underway tomorrow and features four full days of educational seminars, committee meetings, and social gatherings all surrounding the sport of eventing! This year’s Convention takes place in New Orleans, Louisiana, at the Sheraton New Orleans Hotel from Thursday, Dec. 11, to Sunday, Dec. 14.

• Where: Sheraton New Orleans Hotel | 500 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA 70130
• Featuring a new format that includes many open committee meetings, this year's schedule has a little something from everyone. From horse-care, to legal advice, to the inner workings of a horse trial, and more, eventing enthusiasts from all walks of life can learn a little bit more about the sport that they love at this year's Convention.
• There are two tracks that attendees may follow, each with their own unique content. Feel free to mix and match as you see fit to attend the sessions that speak to you!
• Stop by the 3rd Floor Napoleon Foyer each morning from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. for a continental breakfast graciously sponsored by Rebecca Farm.
• Special events:
  • The Show Jumping Seminar on Thursday, Dec. 11 from 12:00 P.M. to 3:00 p.m. will kick-off convention week.
  • The USEA Board of Governors will meet on Thursday, Dec. 11 at 3:00 P.M. and Sunday, Dec. 14 at 8:00 A.M. All are welcome to sit in and hear what is currently taking place on the USEA agenda.
  • The USEA Board of Governors will host a Welcome Reception on Thursday, Dec. 11 at 6:30 P.M in the Armstrong & Foyer room on the 8th floor for all convention attendees.
  • The USEA Foundation and Area V have joined forces to host a film viewing of "Beyond the Arena" with Jon Holling on Friday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m in the Armstrong & Foyer room. This event will also serve as a fundraising event for the USEA Foundation, so come on out, see a really cool film, learn more about the Foundation's efforts to create a safer sport through providing frangible technology to horse trials in the states, and support your sport!
  • The USEA Annual Meeting of Members Luncheon and Keynote Presentation will take place on Saturday Dec. 13 at 12:00 p.m. and will feature an exciting presentation from this year’s Keynote Speaker, equestrian sports psychologist Natalie Hummel. Cocktails will be served 30 minutes prior to the luncheon in the foyer area.
  • Celebrate the hard work and accomplishments of our members throughout the year during the USEA Year-End Awards Dinner on Saturday, Dec. 13 at 6:00 p.m. in Napoleon BC123. Awards cocktails will begin 30 minutes prior to the ceremony in the foyer area.
• Tickets can still be purchased for the Meeting of Members Luncheon and Keynote Presentation and the USEA Year-End Awards Dinner here. Please note tickets for the Year-End Awards must be purchased by Friday, Dec. 12. No additional tickets will be sold the day of the event.
• Please note that the USEA will not be livestreaming the Annual Meeting & Convention. If you will not be able to attend in-person, make sure you follow the USEA on social media @useventing and visit the Convention webpage to follow along with the media coverage throughout the event.
• Not registered for convention yet? Don’t worry! You can register to attend on-site on the 3rd floor Napoleon Foyer starting Thursday at 8:00 a.m.
