Marshall+Sterling Named Official Equine Insurance Provider of the USEA Through 2027

Marshall+Sterling, a top 50 U.S. insurance brokerage of business and personal risk solutions, is proud to announce that it has been named the "Official Equine Insurance Provider" of the United States Eventing Association (USEA), a designation that will extend through May 2027.

This partnership reinforces Marshall+Sterling’s longstanding commitment to the equestrian community and its dedication to protecting horses, riders, and owners at every level of the sport. The company’s Equine Insurance division offers a wide range of coverages including mortality, major medical, liability, farm and ranch, and care, custody, and control (CCC).

“We’re thrilled to be joining the eventing community as the USEA’s official insurance provider,” said Marshall+Sterling Equine Insurance division President Don Graves. “With a team of agents who have decades of experience in the eventing world as competitors, grooms, organizers, and volunteers, we’re here to help USEA members protect their horses while pursuing their goals, whether it be to compete at the USEA American Eventing Championships, bring a young horse along through the Young Event Horse Series, or develop their skills as part of the Eventing Coaches Program—all programs that our sponsorship will help support.”

Graves went on to say, “With over 40 years specializing in equine insurance, no other agency has our depth of knowledge, talent, and expertise, and we’re looking forward to partnering with USEA members to not only insure their horses, but also to secure their success when it comes to their farms, businesses, wealth and retirement, and personal risk.”

Amy Daum, Marshall+Sterling’s Equine Marketing supervisor, added “With our strong relationships with most major U.S. insurance carriers, we have not experienced a disruption in options for event horses, especially around medical and surgical coverages, unlike most agencies. In addition, several companies we work with also offer flexibility to horses with more modest values, including prospects just purchased off the race track.”

Rob Burk, USEA CEO, said, “We are thrilled to have Marshall+Sterling’s support. They share a deep understanding of the needs of equestrian athletes and dedication to providing comprehensive insurance solutions. This collaboration helps strengthen multiple programs within USEA, and we’re proud to work with a company so invested in the future of our sport.”
