Inaugral USEA Recognized Event To Be Held At Kelly's Ford

The inaugural “The Event” at Kelly’s Ford will be held on November 12, 2011 at the Inn at Kelly’s Ford in Remington, Virginia. It is a U. S. Eventing Association Recognized Horse Trials offering Beginner Novice, Novice, and Training Levels with additional unrecognized “Starter” levels of Elementary and Introductory. The Chief Judge and President of the Ground Jury is Karen Visant, Cross-Country Course Designer is Mogie Bearden-Muller, Cross-Country Course Builder is Tyson Rementer, Technical Delegate is Kathy White, Dressage Judges are Muffin Pantaze and Nicky Vogel, and Organizing Committee is James Moore and Gary & Amy Coppage.
The owners of Kelly’s Ford, Bill and Linda Willoughby, welcome competitors and horse enthusiasts alike to a complimentary “Family Fall Festival” day including free admission to the horse triathlon competition, pony rides, carriage rides, moon bounce, face painting, musicians, professional horseman demonstrations, and an array of artisans and vendors under a “Big Top’! “Pelham’s Pub” will be open to relax enjoy food and libations. The historical civil war battleground, the beautiful amenities of the Inn at Kelly’s Ford, and the equestrian and family entertainment should provide a fun filled day!
