How to Setup Your Account in the New USEA Portal

August 7, 2025

The United States Eventing Association, Inc. (USEA) is excited to announce that the new USEA Member Services Portal, HorseConnect, will launch next Tuesday, August 12. In this tutorial, we will teach you how to set up your new account in HorseConnect and how to manage it once you've made the initial connection with the platform. There are many exciting ways our members will be able to interact with HorseConnect, including creating and renewing memberships, registering horses, entering events, and more. This is the start of an exciting new chapter for the USEA.

1. Welcome to the homepage of HorseConnect. You are currently on the landing page where you can have direct access to:

  • Join or renew your membership
  • Explore all the upcoming event competition and clinics
  • Access to your account and your information

Let’s walk through how to log in for the first time. In the top-right corner, click on “Log In.”

2. If you don’t have an account yet, click on “Create an Account.”

3. If you already have an account but forgot your password, simply click on “Reset Password.”
You’ll need to remember the email address associated with your account in order to receive a reset email.
The email will include a link to reset your password and regain access to your account.

4. You’ll be automatically redirected to our secure login system to complete the process.

5. Click on “Sign up” once everything is ready.

6. You will be automatically logged into your HorseConnect profile account.

On your account homepage, you’ll get a preview of all your current memberships or registrations. Additionally, you can access other pages like Find an Event, Find a Club, or Membership Organization.

6. Horseconnect gives you the possibility to manage several profiles in one place. On your home profile page, you can quickly get an overview of the other members on your account and check the status of their memberships by clicking the dropdown menu and selecting the desired profile.

7. Let’s have a look at the User Account Settings.

In this section, you can manage your login credentials and addresses. Here, you have the option to reset your password by clicking on "Reset Password."

8. You’ll be asked to enter your current password, then the new one. After that, click Save to register it.

9. Can’t remember your password? No problem! Just click on "I can't remember my actual password." You will receive an email with a link to reset it.

10. In your Account Settings, you can also manage all your addresses—whether shipping or billing.

11. If you need to update one of your addresses, click on Edit Address, make your changes, and then click Save to confirm.

12. Now let’s take a look at how to view and edit your profile information. First, click on “My Profile.”

13. On this page, you’ll see your main profile details. If you manage multiple profiles under your account, you can use the dropdown menu to switch between them.

14. Under "Manage profiles:," select the profile you’d like to view or update.

15. To make changes—such as updating your name, email, gender, or nationality—click “Edit.” Make the necessary changes, then click “Save” to update your information.

16. At any time, you can return to the main page by clicking the logo in the top-left corner of your screen.
