Help Support Area II Adult Riders Training 3-Day at Waredaca!

As part of the fund raising effort for the USEA Area II Adult Rider Training Level Three-Day at Waredaca, Pat Mansfield (and the rest of the T3DE supporters) has recently signed up for the S.H.O.W. program with Southern States. Basically, they will need to collect "proof of purchase" seals from Southern States horse feeds (Triple Crown, Reliance & Legends) and in cases where horse feed is bought it bulk, the original delivery ticket. They will credit the T3DE account $.25 for every bag of feed except Reliance (which is $.10/bag) and bulk bin delivery tickets are credited $10/ton for Triple Crown & Legends and $4/ton for Reliance.

If you use Southern States feeds, or have friends/neighbors who do, PLEASE tear off the seals and send them to Pat. She will take care of bundling them and sending them off to Southern States. In this economy, every little contribution helps and these could really add up, so please try to pass the word along. Pat’s address is 4821 Sundown Road, Laytonsville, MD 20882. Contact Pat Mansfield for more info on ways to help support this great event: [email protected]

(Editor’s note: This is an excellent way for local associations to raise a few extra bucks! Also, check out the Area II T3DE page to find out more about this exciting event – and even if you don’t plan to ride in a T3DE next year, you should consider coming out to an event and volunteering. It’s loads of fun, you’ll meet tons of eventers in your area, and learn some valuable tips from top riders!)
