The FEH West Coast Championship will be held on October 30, 2014 at Galway Downs (Temecula, Calif.), while the East Coast Championship will take place at Loch Moy Farm (Adamstown, Md.) on November 2, 2014.
Loch Moy Farm will also be offering a FEH-qualifying competition on November 1, which participants can use to qualify for the Championship the next day.
Upper level rider, ICP level 4 instructor, and FEH Committee member Robin Walker will lead the way as a judge for both the East and West Coast FEH Championships. There will be great prizes at the FEH Championships this year including ribbons, trophies, leather halters and leads, wraps, belts, stable supplies, gift cards and more. In addition, the West Coast winners of the 2- and 3-year-old divisions will receive free entries in the Training Three-Day Event at Galway Downs (part of the SmartPak USEA Classic Series) to be used when the horses reach 5 years of age.
The USEA is also providing a list of handlers that will be available for services at both Championships. Any competitors, breeders and/or owners of qualified horses are encouraged to call the USEA office at 703-779-9897 to receive contact information for the available handlers. Tara K Photography has been confirmed as the official photographer of the East Coast FEH Championship, so competitors may get their photos from her site.

About the USEA Future Event Horse Series
The USEA Future Event Horse Series (FEH) was introduced in 2007 as a precursor to the already popular USEA Young Event Horse Series (YEH). The FEH program evaluates the potential of yearlings, two-year-olds, and three-year-olds to become successful upper level event horses. Each age group is judged separately, and genders within the age group are judged separately when the number of entries allow. In order to compete in FEH classes, horses must be registered with the USEA, but a special rate of $25 is available for owners who may not want to register the horse fully yet. To be eligible to compete in the FEH Championships on either coast, horses must earn a minimum qualifying score of 68% at a USEA FEH sanctioned competition during the same calendar year.
