Combinations Announced for USEF Eventing European Developing Tour and Defender U.S. Eventing Team for FEI Eventing Nations Cup Bicton CCIO4*-NC-S

US Equestrian is pleased to announce the combinations selected to represent the Defender U.S. Eventing Team as part of the USEF Eventing European Development Tour, which will feature the FEI Eventing Nations Cup Bicton CCIO4*-NC-S, hosted in Devon, England, from May 27-31. The team will be led by Chef d’Equipe Leslie Law.
The 2026 USEF Eventing European Development Tour is supported by the USET Foundation, Karen E. Stives Endowment Grant, which aims to support the USEF Eventing program goal of producing sustainable success at the international level and to assist athlete/horse combinations to achieve elite level standard in the discipline of eventing.

Quidley Kellermann (Wimberley, Texas) and her own Blakeneys Cruise, a 9-year-old Irish Sport Horse gelding (FSS Correlli Bravo x Cruising) cared for by Olivia Jenkins
Allie Knowles (Lexington, Kentucky) and Montpellier Scais, a 9-year-old Anglo European Sport Horse gelding (Quasimodo van de Molendreef x Indoctro) owned by Katherine O’Brien and cared for by Alex Cain
Cassie Sanger (Wilmington, Delaware) and her own Fernhill Zoro, an 18-year-old Anglo European Sport Horse gelding (Verdi TN x Voltaire) and cared for by Meigs Rutherford
The following combinations have been selected as alternates for the tour and are listed in alphabetical order.
Jenny Caras (Buckhead, Georgia) and Sommersby, a 14-year-old Mecklenberg gelding (Sergeant Pepper x D’Olympic) owned by Jenny Caras and Jerry Hollis and cared for by Charlotte Rose
Allie Knowles (Lexington, Kentucky) and Leo Santos, an 11-year-old Zangersheide gelding (L’Arc de Triomphe x LBH Calvados) owned by Katherine O’Brien and cared for by Alex Cain
Competition Information
Competition will begin on Thursday, May 28 with the first day of dressage, with the second half of the division on Friday, May 29. Both days of dressage will begin at 8:00 a.m. GMT+1/3:00 a.m. ET. On Saturday, May 30, the team will contest the jumping phase in the Western Counties Arena starting at 11:00 a.m. GMT+1/6:00 a.m. ET. The final day of competition on Sunday, May 31, will test combinations on cross-country, to determine the top placing teams.
