Colorado Horse Park Gears September Event Towards Educational Experience and Accommodating Riders

By Colorado Horse Park - Edited Press Release

The Colorado Horse Park is excited to announce the extended event schedule for its’ fall Horse Trials set to take place September 28-30 in Parker, CO. Pre-event clinics with John Staples will be held September 26,27 in addition to schooling opportunities on September 28, allowing riders an educational opportunity like never before.

The Horse Park is also pleased to offer those with work or school commitments a modified schedule with Dressage taking place Saturday rather than Friday. “We know many people who enjoy riding, and would love to attend our shows, have to work or attend classes on Friday; which is why we wanted to offer them a modified schedule so they are still able to come”, said Colorado Horse Park Show Organizer Andy Bowles.

With the addition of stadium schooling rounds, and the John Staples Clinic, both show competitors and any others who wish to attend are invited to participate in these educational opportunities. Andy Bowles stated “one of our goals at the Colorado Horse Park is to create a place where riders of all ages and skill levels can get the most experience possible out of a show. They can come to our event and gain valuable experience at the pre-event clinics, then take advantage of our stadium schooling rounds, and finally put all of that to use in our show. For many lower level competitors, this offers more than just driving here for a five minute or so ride each day and we hope people will enjoy that.”

Entries close for the Fall Event at the Colorado Horse Park September 11. For more information about the Colorado Horse Park, or to sign up for the John Staples Clinic, please visit www.coloradohorsepark.com.
