By USEA | June 12, 2011

Riding Holly Becker and Kathryn Kraft’s Loughen Glen, Clark Montgomery will go into tomorrow’s show jumping phase at the Bromont CCI3* with a rail in hand due to a clean and fast round today on the cross-country course in Quebec, Canada. Clark added only four time penalties to his dressage score of 39 which puts him over seven points ahead of second-placed pair, Leslie Law and Rehy Lux. Sharon White and Rafferty’s Rules moved up into the third position with only six time penalties. Rebecca Howard and Jim Cogdell’s Roquefort also maintained their lead in the CCI2* while Phillip Dutton aboard Mighty Nice and Hannah Sue Burnett riding Harbour Pilot round out the top three. First through third remained unchanged in the CCI* with Will Coleman and Zipp, Doug Payne and Camerlingo, and Fiona Allen and Isengart keeping their placings in tact. Show Jumping will begin tomorrow at 9:30 AM starting with the CCI*, then CCI2*, and wrapping up the competition with the three-star.
