Bit of Britain to Continue Support of USEA with Member Discounts

By USEA | August 7, 2015

The United States Eventing Association (USEA) is excited to announce the continued support of Bit of Britain, Inc. as a USEA Sponsor. John Nunn, Owner and CEO, has supported the USEA for many years through the Nutrena USEA American Eventing Championships, Adequan USEA Gold Cup Series, USEA Annual Meeting and Convention, and the USEA Classic Series. This year, Bit of Britain will return as the USEA Leaderboard Title Sponsor.

Bit of Britain plays an integral role in the Eventing community, providing competitors with top-quality products. Bit of Britain will also continue to show their generosity through their 5% discount that is given to all USEA members on all orders.

“Our long time sponsor Bit of Britain, led by John Nunn, have been a constant and unwavering supporter of the sport of Eventing in the United States. Once again Bit of Britain has stepped up to offer a 5% discount for USEA members, and they will continue on as a major supporter of the USEA,” says Rob Burk, Senior Director of Programs at the USEA. “I am sure the membership will join me in thanking Bit of Britain for their support by looking to them first for all of their equestrian gear and apparel needs.”

Bit of Britain is a company run and owned by John Nunn. Nunn was born into horses and has found his niche in Eventing. Not only is he the CEO and owner of Bit of Britain as well as competing at the Preliminary level, he also started his own wholesale company, Nunn Finer Products. These products are well known and respected, and are undoubtedly top of the line. Nunn Finer offers products ranging from top quality galloping boots to beautiful tack, and everything in between.

John Nunn, owner and CEO of Bit of Britain said “I was watching a video on YouTube from Millbrook Horse Trials in 1993 and I heard Brian O'Connor announcing the event and then I hear him say "Don't forget to stop by and thank John Nunn from Bit of Britain for his generous support of this horse trial." He then goes back to the horse on course, then stops again and says ‘I have announced the last five weeks at various horse trials across the country and at each and every one of them Bit of Britain has in some way supported the event.’ I'm sure that statement probably was true, and in the last 22 years I have not slowed up with my support of the USEA, its programs, its members as well as individual riders.”

Nunn goes on to say “I understand what it takes to get a horse to an Event and what you get when you do well, which is not much in most cases. I have tried my best over the last 25 years to make some sort of difference and I pledge to continue my support of the USEA and its members. It gives me great pleasure to be part of such an exciting sport, and to know that what I have done to make a difference has not gone unnoticed. I'd like to take this opportunity to "thank you" for purchasing from Bit of Britain, in turn it makes it all possible for me to give back to the sport that 22 years ago I was just breaking into. It was fun to watch that YouTube video and see the changes in Eventing and see the things that are still there. Like Brian, we're still out there. Was that really 1993?”

The USEA is honored to have the support from such a loyal and generous company such as Bit of Britain.
