This year's Dutta Corp. USEA Young Event Horse (YEH) West Coast 4- and 5-year-old Championships are officially in the books following a full day of jumping at Twin Rivers Ranch in Paso Robles, California. Judges Marilyn Payne and Christian Schacht saw 32 pairs across both championship divisions, but ultimately only one pair could rise to the top of the field in each age group to bring home the champion title.
This year’s Dutta Corp USEA Young Event Horse (YEH) West Coast Championships began today in the beautiful wine country of Paso Robles, California, at Twin Rivers Ranch. The surrounding wineries slowly transition to the beautiful shades of fall, leaving a fitting backdrop for 32 highly qualified youngsters to battle it out for the coveted championship titles.
The USEA Emerging Athlete (EA21) Regional Clinics continued farther down the West Coast yesterday to the picturesque town of Paso Robles, California. Nestled in the countryside between rolling hills and vineyards, the beautiful Twin Rivers Ranch played host to this invitational event.
The bright autumn leaves and the early morning fog helped set the scene for Halloween as well as the final day of competition on Saturday in the USEA Future Event Horse (FEH) and Dutta Corp. USEA Young Event Horse (YEH) West Coast Championships at Twin Rivers Ranch in Paso Robles, CA.
Twin Rivers Ranch in the picturesque wine country of Paso Robles, California, is once again the host to the Dutta Corp. USEA Young Event Horse (YEH) and USEA Future Event Horse (FEH) Championships. The Championships consist of six divisions: The Dutta Corp. USEA YEH West Coast 5-year-old and 4-year-old Championships, and the USEA FEH West Coast 4-year-old, 3-year-old, 2-year-old, and Yearling Championships. All six divisions of the Championships competed on Friday with the FEH 2-year-old and yearling classes crowning their champions.
Today was the final day of competition in The Dutta Corp. USEA Young Event Horse (YEH) and USEA Future Event Horse (FEH) West Coast Championships at Twin Rivers Ranch in Paso Robles, California. Activities began on the combined show jumping and cross-country course early in the morning for the YEH 4- and 5-year-old Championships, testing the jumping aptitude of these very promising youngsters. Championship judges Debbie Adams and Peter Gray evaluated seven 4-year-olds and 15 5-year-olds.
