Area V Wins Gold In CH-J*, Area III Takes The CH-Y**

The four Texans from Area V led wire to wire in the CH-J* at this year’s Adequan/FEI North American Junior and Young Rider Championships. The Team finished on a score of 184.4 a 20 point margin over second placed Area VI. Area V Team member, Alyssa Phillips, also claimed the individual gold medal with her horse, Sundance Bay. The Bronze medal went to Team Ontario and team members Sable Giesler and Brook Pickering medalled individually with silver and bronze as well. In the CH-Y** it was a tight race in the Team competition, but Area III came out victorious with Area V/IX settling for silver and Team Canada taking bronze. Individually Devon Brown and Dynamic Image (Area III) earned the gold medal with Jacob Fletcher (Area V) and Sarah Kamensky (Area II) taking silver and bronze.
