Announcing the New USEA Volunteer Coordinator Guide

Thanks to the hard work of the Volunteer Committee, USEA is thrilled to announce the addition of a USEA Volunteer Coordinator Guide. This step-by-step guide outlines the role of a volunteer coordinator and what to do before the event, during the event, and after the event. It also has a resource section with helpful links for volunteers, volunteer coordinators, and show organizers.
Click here to visit the USEA Volunteer Coordinator Guide. The guide can also be found on the sidebar of the Volunteer Incentive Program page as it aims to answer any questions that might pop up when putting together an event.
This website can be continuously updated, therefore if anyone has suggestions feel free to email the Volunteer Committee Chair Bonnie Kibbie at [email protected] or the Volunteer Coordinator Guide website creator Irene Doo at [email protected].
Connect with Volunteer Coordinators on Facebook and join the USEA Volunteer Coordinators Facebook group.
About the USEA Volunteer Incentive Program
Volunteers are the lifeblood of our sport, the unsung heroes, and the people who make it possible to keep the sport alive. In efforts to recognize the dedication, commitment, and hard work that volunteers put into eventing, USEA formed the Volunteer Incentive Program (VIP) in 2015. In 2017, an online management portal was designed for volunteers, organizers, and volunteer coordinators at EventingVolunteers.com (available as an app for iOS and Android).
Volunteer incentives include national and area recognition, year-end awards with ribbons, cash prizes, and trophies, a top ten USEA Volunteer leaderboard, and a Volunteer of the Year award which is given to the volunteer who tops the leaderboard by accumulating the most volunteer hours over the USEA competition year. The USEA would like to thank Sunsprite Warmbloods for sponsoring the Volunteer Incentive Program.
