36 Horses Move Forward in the Twin Rivers CCI-L Divisions

By Jessica Duffy - USEA Staff | April 14, 2019

The CCI3*-L and CCI2*-L horses at the Twin Rivers CCI and Horse Trials in Paso Robles, California presented to FEI ground jury members Robert Stevenson (USA), Richard Baldwin (GBR), and Valerie Vizcarrondo (USA) on the final morning of competition. All 16 of the CCI3*-L horses will move forward to show jumping while 20 of the 21 horses presented in the CCI2*-L were accepted.

There was a tense moment in the CCI2*-L when overnight leader RF Eloquence was sent to the hold box, but he passed upon reinspection. Southern Belle, a 10-year-old Irish Sport Horse mare owned and ridden by Sarah Lipetz, was also sent to the hold but unfortunately was not accepted.

The final phase of competition for the CCI2*-L and CCI3*-L will begin this afternoon at 12:50 p.m.
