Elkton, Md.Oct. 15Excitement was obvious at Fair Hill this afternoon as 22 five-star horse and rider pairs presented before the Grand Jury before competition gets underway tomorrow. The field was two horses shy of the 24 horses anticipated as Buck Davidson did not present his and Carl Segal's 14-year-old Thoroughbred gelding Sorocaima (Rock Hard Ten x Sankobasi) and Jennie Brannigan did not bring forth the 13-year-old Holsteiner gelding Connory (Conrato x Hocaponta), whom she co-owns with Tim and Nina Gardner.

Australia's Sophia Hill was awarded Best Dressed for her classic and stylish combination of a barn-style jacket, white jeans, and hat that perfectly complimented her entry, Humble Glory's, bright bay coat.

Dressage will get underway on Thursday morning with the CCI3*-L beginning at 9:00 a.m. EST and the five-star at 2:00 p.m. EST.
