The Latest Deformable Cross-Country Jump Technology with Mats Björnetun
Mats is the founder and owner of MIM Construction AB based in Frändefors, Sweden, which has developed and produced crash-tested accessories for the automotive industry since 1986. MIM Construction's business is to design and produce solutions that continue to enhance the safety of everyone from all walks of life.
Mats is 61-years-old and has three children with his wife Eva, and two grand-children. Since 1992, he has volunteered in different organizing positions from Novice to World Cup eventing competitions in Sweden, and is also highly involved in building safe obstacles for riders and horses in order to make the sport safer. His ideas and knowledge within the safety area in eventing have made Mats the natural speaking partner when it comes to building safer obstacles for both rider and horse. He has been consulted by the German, Irish and Dutch national eventing organizations on how to build safe obstacles.
Building Your Own Dynamic Jumps with Brody Robertson
Brody Robertson is a lifelong horseman with a focus on showjumping. Although he competed multiple horses at the grand prix level and won Team & Individual Gold Medals from the U.S. Olympic Sports Festival, his primary focus is on his jump manufacturing business. Brody Robertson Showjumps creates jumps for corporate sponsors, private stables, and events throughout North America, including the Alltech WEG 2010, Winter Equestrian Festival, HITS, Richland Park, Carolina International, and Plantation Field. Brody is a USEF licensed course designer, Vice Chairman of the USHJA Zone 7 Jumper Committee, and a lifetime member of the USEA.
Course Building on a Budget with Janet Gunn
Janet Gunn is a founding member (1987) of Commonwealth Dressage and Combined Training Association (Northern Virginia), serving on the Board of Directors as Treasurer, Budget Chair, and Secretary. She was organizer of the original CDCTA Spring Horse Trials at Commonwealth Park, and has been involved (as rider, volunteer, coordinator, or official) in almost every CDCTA HT. Janet has been CDCTA’s Affiliate Representative to USEA since 2004, and is also the Affiliate Coordinator for both Area II and USEA, where she is also on the Membership Committee. A licensed “r” Eventing TD, Janet keeps her horses (four at the moment, aged three to 32) at home while working full time in IT/Telephony.
