USEA Annual Meeting & Convention and Eventing Hall of Fame Return to DC Area in 2026

The United States Eventing Association, Inc. (USEA) looks forward to hosting the membership in our home state of Virginia for this year’s USEA Annual Meeting & Convention and Eventing Hall of Fame induction ceremony. This year’s festivities will be held at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City Hotel in Arlington, VA on Friday, December 11, through Sunday, December 13. Registration will be open later this fall, but until then, start mapping out your travel plans!
The Hyatt Regency Crystal City is conveniently located just minutes from the Ronald Reagan National Airport (DCA) in the heart of the Crystal City neighborhood of Arlington. With complimentary shuttles running from DCA every 20 minutes, you will be able to reach the heart of the action for this year’s event in 30 minutes or less upon your arrival. Enjoy stunning views of the nation’s monuments from your hotel window or pop over to visit Washington, DC with easy access to the Crystal City Metro Station. This family and pet friendly hotel features a fitness center and pool, as well as two in-house restaurant options if you’d prefer not to venture out one evening. A two double bed room starts at just $159 with the USEA room block discount. Click here to make your reservation today!
If you plan to fly to this year’s convention, there are three airport options at your disposal. As mentioned, Reagan National Airport (DCA) is a 5-minute car or shuttle ride from the hotel, making it the most convenient. With over 100 non-stop destinations and service through major airlines like Alaska, American, Delta, Frontier, JetBlue, Southwest, and United, there is sure to be an option for most travelers.
Alternative options include the Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD), which is approximately 27 miles from the host hotel, or the Baltimore-Washington International Airport (BWI), which is 35 miles from the hotel. Those traveling into Dulles can take the Metro to the Crystal City Station or use taxi/ride sharing services. For BWI travelers, taxi or ride sharing will be the best option with an approximately 1 hour and 15-minute drive to the destination.
Another option for travelling is to enjoy a peaceful train ride to Arlington! Amtrak has a plethora of options into Union Station in Washington, DC, which is less than 5 miles from the host hotel. If you are traveling locally from Maryland, train services from Baltimore to Union Station are offered through MARC for less than $10. Click here to view the train schedules. The Virginia Rail Express also has a local station that is less than a 5-minute walk from the Hyatt Regency for VA locals.
Finally, if you plan to travel by car, please click here for a full list of travel directions by origin by scrolling down to the middle of the page. Valet parking at the hotel is available overnight for a sedan for $50 per day or for an SUV or larger for $60 per day. This is the only parking option available at the hotel, but it offers unlimited in/out privileges.
