Lexington, Ky.—April 24—Thirty-five five-star horses presented today under sunny skies at the Defender Kentucky Three-Day Event.
The Ground Jury of President Robert Stevenson (USA), Xavier Le Sauce (FRA), and Judy Hancock (GBR) passed all horses, but two were held and passed upon re-inspection—British rider Yasmin Ingham's 2022 FEI World Eventing Championship winning mount Banzai du Loir and Doug Payne's (USA) Quantum Leap.
New Zealand's Matthew Grayling did not present Trudeau.
Dressage kicks off tomorrow for the five-star at 1:30 p.m. EST.

The Millbrook Horse Trials kicked off on July 25 with lower level dressage at Riga Meadow Equestrian Center at Coole Park in Millbrook, New York. There are more than 400 total entries competing at Millbrook, from Beginner Novice to Advanced level. Today the upper level horses cantered down the centerline, while the lower levels headed out on cross-country.
