The schedule might be lighter today, but the competition will still be fierce as competitors in our six final divisions step forth in hopes of being crowned champion. We absolutely love Beginner Novice championship day and cannot wait to watch eventing dreams unfold right before our very eyes. We encourage all other competitors to take a moment to head down to the Rolex Stadium to cheer these final six divisions on as they cross the finish timers!

All six Beginner Novice Championship leaders held tightly to their spot on the leaderboard after cross-country and there is little margin for error in each of the divisions going into the final phase. Needless to say, the competition is going to be tight today, so hold on to your helmets, ladies and gentlemen.

Today's schedule is as follows:

Show Jumping

  • Beginner Novice Master Amateur Championship | 7:30 a.m. - 9:15 a.m.
  • Beginner Novice Amateur Championship | 9:15 a.m. - 11:45 a.m.
  • Beginner Novice Horse Championship | 12:00 p.m. - 1:30 p.m.

  • Beginner Novice Junior Championship | 4:00 p.m. - 5:45 p.m.

Putting on the AEC is a labor of love for so many of us and your thanks are all we need to keep going and make each year bigger and better than before!

Saddle Fit Simplified

Eventers who are new to the sport may feel a little overwhelmed by the often-misunderstood world of saddle fitting. Riders are often bombarded with information from peers online or self-described experts, putting them at risk of following bad advice related to equipment that impacts horse welfare perhaps more than any other piece of tack. Finding a qualified expert to answer these questions is crucial. Who better to turn to than both a qualified Master Saddle Fitter and a fourth-generation saddle designer to answer some of these questions?
