The United States Eventing Association, Inc. (USEA) is thrilled to welcome The United States Pony Clubs, Inc. (USPC or Pony Club) as a sponsor of the USEA Eventing Coaches Program (ECP). USPC will be the “Presenting Sponsor of the ECP Workshops,” which includes educational opportunities for interested candidates in Area III at Malvern House, Area II at Destination Eventing and Loch Moy Farm, Area IV at Jigsaw Farm, and Area VI at Twin Rivers Ranch. USPC will also contribute funding from the Eleanor Brennan Memorial Fund, which offers scholarships to current USEA members who are affiliated with the USPC as a member, instructor, or leader to cover their ECP workshop expenses
The United States Pony Clubs, Inc. (USPC or Pony Club) offers many levels of recognition each year for members who participate in Dressage and Eventing at Pony Club rallies, as well as competitions recognized by the United States Dressage Federation (USDF) and United States Eventing Association (USEA). USPC members who meet the criteria may submit an online application by November 15 of each year.
Pony Club has been offered in the United States for over sixty years, allowing the educational opportunity for young horse enthusiasts to become well rounded riders and horse caretakers. For 39 years, the Loudoun Hunt Pony Club (LHPC) has held the Loudoun Hunt Pony Club Horse Trials at Morven Park in Leesburg, Virginia. Margaret Good, the District Commissioner (DC) of the Loudoun Hunt Pony Club, has helped organize the horse trials since day one.

Four eventers and Pony Club alumni were inducted into the U.S. Pony Club Academy of Achievement last week in Louisville, Ky. According to the Pony Club website, “The USPC Academy of Achievement recognizes Pony Club alumni for being outstanding in their chosen fields of expertise. Individuals are nominated by members, leaders, and other alumni.”

The 2013 Pony Club Inter-Pacific Exchange (IPE) took place in Queensland, Australia from July 26th through August 12th, 2013. The exchange, held every other year, consists of 4-rider teams from five countries: Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Canada, and USA.
