13 New USEA Area VII Champions Crowned

This year’s USEA Area VII Championships took place across two weekends with the Intermediate, Preliminary, Training, Novice, and Beginner Novice levels taking place at the Aspen Farm Horse Trials in Yelm, Washington, from Sept. 13-15, and the Starter level running as part of the Spokane Sport Horse Farm Horse Trials in Spokane, Washington, from Sept. 27-29. There were 13 new Area VII Champions crowned across the various championship divisions. Get to know each of them a little bit better below!

Aspen Farms Horse Trials Concludes and Crowns Area VII Championship Winners

Aspen Farms Horse Trials and the first part of the United States Eventing Association (USEA) Area VII Championships has concluded with more than $35,000 worth of cash and prizes awarded by show sponsors to top finishers from throughout the region and beyond. The final leg of the USEA Area VII Championships will be for Starter and Modified divisions at Spokane Sport Horse Fall Horse Trials in two weeks.

Meet the 11 New Champions from the Area VII Championships at Aspen Farms

Aspen Farms in Yelm, Washington, served as the beautiful backdrop for this year’s USEA Area VII Championships. In total, there were 11 championship divisions offered from the Beginner Novice level through Intermediate, in addition to the event’s regular horse trial divisions. Rider Reflections: Area VII Champions Conquer Rainy Weather and Championship Courses

The Area VII Championships were one of three Area Championships to run over the weekend of September 18-19. The Aspen Farms Horse Trials of Yelm, Washington was host to the over 150 combinations who qualified for the Area VII year-end Championships presented by Tin Men Supply. With ten Championship divisions running over the course of the weekend, the team of staff and volunteers putting on the event were quite busy ensuring that the Championship atmosphere was top-notch!

Area VII Adult Riders Take Team Competition Online

Every year, the Area VII Adult Riders host the Adult Rider Team Series (ARTS), a virtual team challenge where Adult Rider program members are randomly placed on a virtual team and can complete tasks to earn points for their team. Points can be earned for entering an event, completing an event (the higher the placing, the more points you earn), and volunteering at an event.
