Today German eventer Ingrid Klimke became the first rider to win the eventing at the CHIO Aachen three times: in 2015 with SAP Escada, in 2017 with SAP Hale Bob OLD, and again today with SAP Hale Bob OLD. British rider Laura Collett was the overnight leader on London 52, but a runout at the final combination on course, the Stawag Complex, cost them the win.
The CHIO Aachen Digital Champion of Champions will take place on August 7-8 through the EquiRatings Eventing Manager. The USEA will be teaming up with Eventing Manager for this upcoming event to encourage USEA members to play. The USEA will have its own league within the CHIO Aachen Digital Champion of Champions named the "USEVENTING" league.

US Equestrian has named the following combinations to the Land Rover U.S. Eventing Team for the FEI Eventing Nations Cup™ Aachen CCIO4*-S during CHIO Aachen, July 19-20 in Aachen, Germany. Erik Duvander will serve as the chef d’equipe.
It was an uphill battle for the Land Rover U.S. Eventing Team, however, their perseverance earned them a fourth place at the FEI Eventing Nations Cup CICO3* Aachen. Led by Chef d’Equipe Erik Duvander, the U.S. team comprised of Will Coleman riding OBOS O’Reilly, Buck Davidson riding Carlevo, Lauren Kieffer riding Landmark’s Monte Carlo, and Kim Severson riding Cooley Cross Border ended on a score of 189.1.
German is lying in first place with 79.40 minus points, ahead of France (90.90) and New Zealand (92.50). Julia Krajewski with Samourai du Thot (22.50), Ingrid Klimke with SAP Hale Bob OLD (26.10), Kai Rüder with Colani Sunrise (30.80), and Andreas Dibowski with FRH Corrida (58.10) already took the lead after the dressage and they are holding onto it after the jumping too.

The DHL-Prize CICO3* at CHIO Aachen concluded Saturday with the cross-country phase. Led by Chef d'Equipe David O’Connor, the Land Rover U.S. Eventing Team of Matt Brown, Hannah Sue Burnett, Phillip Dutton, and Lauren Kieffer finished in sixth on a total of 203.30 penalties.
